Bit-Parts…

Robin's Talk Stalled
V. Persie
We hear that talks between Arsenal and Robin Van Persie were stalled yesterday without reaching any agreement. The club has offered to give the 28 years old an improved contract worth £130,000 a week. But his eye must be on Man City’s interest that can earn him close to double what Arsenal is offering.
My take? V.P, please take that offer and let’s put this issue to bed. Remember how faithful the club was to you when you were repeatedly injured.
Man City eyes Ibra…
Man Ibra
Man city are said to be on the trail of Zlatan Ibrahimovic. The AC Milan striker can come to England for £25m, and can take a pay package of £300,000 a week, eclipsing £250,000 of Yaya, to make him the highest paid in England.
My take? Ibra, please go there, so that they can take they eyes off Van Persie. But if I’m to advice Man City, that will be their worst investment EVER. Ask Barca.
Michael set to hang boots
Owen
Man U’s estranged striker, Michael Owen, will be hanging his boot at the end of next month when his contract expires with United. There are no interests from any club to accommodate him for now. Will keep you updated with the developments.
My Take? Typical failed attempt to find his way back to England squad. Tattered career…he should have gone into coaching ever since.
Carrick hints on retirement!
Carrick
Carrick has refused to be a bit-part player for the English squad, and have gone into retirement. They 30-year old, was not included in Hodgson’s standby squad, because he has decided to leave country football and concentrate on club progress.
My take? Abeg, carrick no make me laugh…who did you expect to bench ? Have you ever had what can be called an ‘England career’ talkless of retiring? Just stick with your role in Fergie’s team.
Poldolski Unvealed and Models for Arsenal
The newly acquired German striker has finally donned the Arsenal Jersey. He is so so eager to start in his career with the English club.
My take? Nice one…let’s see how his erratic figure fits into the league. See some pix…
