Lest we forget, I must acknowledge Chelsea’s only trophy for the season. They ran out winners of the FA cup on Sunday after beating Liverpool 2-1 in a fiercely contested match. Chelsea dominated the game in the first half but Liverpool flipped the coin and were all over place forcing Chelsea to defend till the final whistle. This pressure resulted to what many of Liverpool’s fan we call an equaliser, when the substitute Andy Carroll header a ball that was saved by Peter Cech. His effort was shortly after he scored a beautiful goal to pull one back for Liverpool.
Congratulations to Di Matteo and Chelsea FC. I think RDM should be given an opportunity next season, he deserves it.
For the books, Drogba created a record by being the first and only player to have scored in FOUR FA Cup finals...BIG MAN!
