CAMPEONES!
Former Porto striker Radamel Falcao was last night’s hero when he helped Athletico Madrid lift the Europa League trophy for the second time in three years. His 2 goals made it easy for the Spanish team, as they ran out 3-0 winners over fellow Spanish team, Athletico Bilbao. Wolfsburg on- loan attacking midfielder, Diego, made it three with a decent effort.

He has now won the trophy back to back, after winning it with his former club Porto last season....making him the first player to have achieved this feat in the Europa/UEFA Cup history. The 26 years old Columbian who has scored 38 goals in all competition this season, showed why he is one of the most sort-after striker in Europe. His ability has left many to wonder what he is doing in Athletico... loads of his admirers believe he should be playing in a more prominent team. With his constituency, I will not be surprise to see Chelsea or Man City in his chase, after a failed attempt to land he last summer.
