He Bows!

I speculated here on this blog that Pep Guardiola may not be sitting on the Barca bench next season...and Boom! he dropped it last week that he cannot see himself continuing as the head coach of Barcelona.
What might be the cause? Is it the fierce competition that Mourinho brought to the La Liga? Is it lack of motivation to carry on? Is it the recent seemingly failure in his tactics that led to his defeat at the hands of Chelsea and Real Madrid?
Whatever the reason....it remains fact that Pep can be adjudged one of the best coaches to have graced the world of football. Having been promoted from the Barca B team, he swung into action by systematically taking some of the bravest decisions in the team. He ousted power-weights in the likes of Deco, Ronaldinho, and Eto. He was also successful in refreshing the side by empowering a young squad built around mighty Messi flanked by Xavi, Iniesta and the others.
He picked up trophies in his four-year reign like a child picks up cherries in a park...13 solid trophies in such a short period, which includes three (3) league titles and two (2) Champions League crowns!
High times!
On individual level he picked up the IFFHS World's Best Club Coach of the Year, two times (2009, 2011); twice the UEFA Team of the Year Best Coach (2008–09, 2010–11); La Liga Coach of the Year, three times (2009, 2010, 2011); FIFA Ballon d'Or Best Coach, once in 2011; and many others.
No. 1
Pep I doff my hat for you....Well-done! If you ask me, he walked out at the bestest of times...when the ovation is still loudest! Real Legend!! See you in England someday.....
