After running the whole season and yet to be beaten (with ONE game left), Juventus have bagged their first Serie A title since 2003. AC Milan’s 4-2 loss to Inter opened a four-point gap between Juve and AC, with just a game to go.
Ecstatic Conte
Antonio Conte, their coach, was very elated to have lifted the Serie A trophy against all expectations. Their 2-0 win over Novara yesterday gave them the cup.
It must be recalled that 2005, 2006 titles were stripped from them and they were sent to Serie B, due to match-fixing scandals. Their comeback has been emphatic, and they are back to business!
Congratulations JUVE! Hope we don’t hear another scandal case again.
